At the border of Hotagens nature reserve lies Skottbodlandet, a rustic log cabin, in a fantastic location in the middle of the Swedish forest, far away from civilization and light pollution, the ideal conditions to see wild animals or the northern lights.  

Located on a cliff edge, it offers stunning views over the river down below and Stakafjället mountain in the background.

A place without electricity and water, it is ideal to get back to your roots. 
There are 13 beds in the main cabin, and 2 more in a smaller cabin.
The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a gas stove. At a nearby stream there is running drinking water. Outhouse toilet and sauna. 

In winter Skottbodlandet is only accessible by snowmobile, and it is the perfect starting point for tours in the beautiful Hotagens naturreservat, there are hundreds of kilometers of snowmobile tracks.
